  • Rupert is a partner of Von Wobeser y Sierra with more than twenty-five years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate and international investment matters. He is part of the ESG practice group (Environmental, Social and Governance).


    Rupert is part of our Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is co-leader of the Automotive & Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical & Life Science industry groups. He works primarily in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate matters and business transactions. His experience also includes asset transfers, strategic alliances and joint ventures, both national and transnational. He has advised a broad range of companies in these different sectors and areas.

    An important part of his practice involves international transactions. Rupert has a high-profile client base across Europe, particularly from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, due to his double profile as an Austrian and Mexican lawyer. He has performed a key role in relevant investment projects in Mexico, above all in the automotive and manufacturing sector. He also regularly advises multinational clients in business transactions and contractual matters. He has experience in industrial and intellectual property matters and has counseled clients from different countries in the managing of their trademark portfolios and strategic projects. He is considered a trusted attorney of the Austrian and Swiss embassies in Mexico and is counsel to the German Embassy.
