With Mexico’s telecoms bill having obtained the final stamp approval before enactment, lawyers are gearing up for demand from clients as they grapple with more stringent antitrust requirements and prepare for investment opportunities arising from upcoming bidding rounds and assets up for grabs as dominant players like América Móvil divest.

Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. participated in the conference, “Evolution and practice of International Arbitration in Latin America” the 1st Conference of Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB) which was organized in conjunction with the International Chamber of Commerce – Mexico (ICC-Mexico). The event took place in Mexico City on June 17th 2014 at the Hotel Four Seasons and was headed by Claus von Wobeser, Co-Chair of the conference.
