Regina is an Associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. She has more than five years of experience in the Energy and Natural Resources practice.
She advises Mexican and international companies on regulatory, administrative, constitutional, and corporate matters related to the energy and infrastructure sectors. She is involved in all stages of project development, from regulatory analysis and legal structuring to obtaining, amending, and ensuring compliance with permits, authorizations, and other governmental approvals.
She also advises companies with offshore operations on maritime regulatory matters related to the hydrocarbons sector, as well as on projects involving the import, export, transportation, storage, and commercialization of hydrocarbons, refined petroleum products, and natural gas, including natural gas liquefaction processes and infrastructure.
In addition, she participates in the structuring and negotiation of strategic agreements for energy and infrastructure projects, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) agreements, and agreements for the supply, transportation, and sale and purchase of hydrocarbons, refined petroleum products, and natural gas, as well as other commercial agreements related to the power and hydrocarbons sectors.
Her practice also includes the preparation of legal opinions, regulatory audits, and regulatory compliance strategies.
