On May 23rd, 2018, the “Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership”, better known as TPP-11 or CPTPP, was published in the Official Federal Gazette, as well as two Side Agreements to the TPP-11 signed by Mexico with Vietnam related to the textile sector; a Side Agreement signed with Malaysia with respect to the rule of origin that will apply in the production of certain vehicles; and a Side Agreement with Australia regarding investment protection.
