Von Wobeser y Sierra S.C., is proud to inform you that Victor M. Ruiz will be a guest speaker in a specialized course sponsored by the National Judicial School and the Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and Industry designed for training the Dominican Judiciary in selected issues concerning the application of the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration, which was recently adopted by the Dominican Republic in late 2008. Victor will be speaking at two sessions, one with respect to judicial intervention in aid of arbitration (constitution of the arbitral tribunal, provisional measures, etc.) and the other on the role of Courts at the seat of arbitration in actions for setting aside (annulment) of arbitral awards.
