On June 7, 2013, the Federal Environmental Liability Act (Ley Federal de Responsabilidad Ambiental, hereinafter "LEFRA") was published in the Official Federal Gazette, which will enter into force on July 2013, after having been under discussion in both chambers of Congress for approximately 3 years. In the attached you'll find some of the most important aspects of the LEFRA.
