Today, we commemorate International Women’s Day (IWD) and we honor the women in our firm. At Von Wobeser y Sierra, we are committed to the promotion and advancement of gender equality in the legal profession. Our position is unwavering and unrelenting.
We will continue to drive diversity by actively supporting and fostering women to achieve and thrive in leadership positions at our firm. For us, mentoring and sponsoring women are vital to their career development. We will continue implementing initiatives aimed at affirming our commitment to gender diversity and women leadership development by providing the required infrastructure, measuring our progress with clear KPIs, and promoting supportive behaviors and mindset at our firm. As part of our commitments, this year we are launching a mentoring program for women associates and will continue sponsoring LL.M. and foreign associate programs for women.
