We are excited to share with you that Von Wobeser y Sierra signed the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) during an event held by Abogadas MX on February 11, 2022.
This action reinforces our firm’s commitment to promote women in leadership, as well as to foster gender equality and women's empowerment, which are vital for driving growth and sustainability.
Established by the UN Global Compact and UN Women, the WEPs are informed by international labor and human rights standards and grounded in the recognition that businesses have a stake in, and a responsibility for, gender equality and women’s empowerment.
At Von Wobeser y Sierra we believe that the WEPs framework of seven principles (leadership, equality, safety, learning, transparency, community, markets) is an effective roadmap in order to promote sustainability, innovation and productivity in the global community.
This is one of the initiatives on diversity and inclusion promoted by our firm’s Diversity Committee.
