The call for the second long term auction to award contracts for energy, clean energy certificates (CELs) and capacity was published on April 29th, 2016 by the Ministry of Energy (SENER) and issued by the National Center for Energy Control (CENACE).
This auction aims to allocate long term contracts between power generators and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), in its role as basic service supplier. This auction shall be carried out in transparent conditions for, both private and public entities, to satisfy CFE’s requirements of energy, CELs and capacity.
