Rodrigo is a counsel at Von Wobeser y Sierra. He has more than 20 years of experience and is part of the Real Estate and Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions practices, as well as the Financial Services industry group.
Rodrigo is an expert in real estate, banking and finance, as well as capital markets. He advises in complex real estate matters, having represented domestic and international investors such as developers, builders and private equity funds with portfolios and investments in Mexico. He has noteworthy experience in residential, industrial and commercial sectors, including offices, retail and hospitality (resorts and hotel properties).
Before joining Von Wobeser y Sierra, Rodrigo was a partner in a boutique law firm in Mexico City, specialized in real estate. Previously, he founded and led DLR Urban Property, a real estate development company focused on residential and commercial projects. Earlier, he was the General Counsel of a top-tier real estate development company in Mexico.
With extensive experience in cross-border investments and financing transactions for real estate companies, including FIBRAs (REITs) and CKDs, Rodrigo handles various types of financings, such as mezzanine debt, construction financing, mortgage loans, and guaranty trusts.
He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, where he obtained a certificate in Real Estate Specialized Topics.
