His main professional focus centers on preventing and combating corruption. This is the result of his experience as consultant for the Department of Sustainable Democracy and Special Missions at the OAS, which focused on combating corruption and impunity in El Salvador and Haiti. As former member, and now pro-bono collaborator, for NGO Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity, he participated in strategic litigation cases advocating for the strengthening Mexico’s anticorruption legal frame with national results.

He was an oralist in the 26th and 27th edition of said competition where the team was placed tenth in the general rounds and reached the round of 32, one of Mexico’s top results.

Sebastián is also adjunct professor in the courses of Arbitration, Private International Law, and Contemporary American Jurisprudence at Universidad Panamericana.
