Sara is an associate of Von Wobeser y Sierra with more than seven years of experience in the Anti-corruption & Compliance and Litigation practices.
She has advised Mexican and international companies in diverse and complex anti-corruption cases and high-profile lawsuits before the local and federal courts, at the trial and appellate levels, and before Mexico’s Supreme Court of Justice. She also has broad experience in the representation of clients in criminal investigations and proceedings. Her experience in regulatory compliance, best practices and risk assessment for the prevention of crime is also considerable. Before joining the firm, Sara completed her LL.M. practice in the Spanish Constitutional Court, where she was responsible for resolving the enquiries of the European Court of Human Rights and the Venice Commission. By invitation of the National Human Rights Commission of Mexico City, she has been a lead speaker in conferences related to damages for violations of human rights of persons deprived of their liberty.
