  • Gerardo is counsel of Von Wobeser y Sierra with more than fourteen years of experience in the Competition & Antitrust practice who provides advice to domestic and foreign clients.


    Gerardo has represented various companies in governmental investigations on cartels and abuse of dominance, market regulation, tariff regulation and dominance. He has extensive experience with network industries, such as telecommunications, broadcasting, rail transport, and oil and gas, as well as in the regulated sectors of health, banking and financial services, and air transport, among others. He has in-depth knowledge of each of these business areas. Gerardo is a former officer of the Competition and Antitrust Commission (Cofece) and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., (appointed pursuant to the U.S. Safe Web Act de 2006). He has been recognized by Chambers and Partners Global, Chambers and Partners Latin America and The Legal 500.
