    Mr. Rodriguez is a senior associate with more than 10 years of experience in competition matters. He is a former officer of the Mexican Federal Antitrust Commission (COFECE) in Mexico City and former intern (appointed pursuant to the U.S. Safe Web Act of 2006) of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, D.C.

    He has deep knowledge of and experience with network industries, such as: (i) telecommunications, (ii) broadcasting, (iii) railroad transportation and (iv) oil & gas; as well as other regulated sectors like: (i) healthcare and life science, (ii) financial services, and (iii) air transportation, among others.

    Gerardo has also represented several clients in connection with cartels and abuse of dominance investigations, as well as other government investigations related to barriers to entry, market regulation, rate regulation and dominance.

    He has been recognized as a Rising Star in Competition and Antitrust (2019) by Legal 500.
