Pablo Jiménez discusses key business and legal challenges in Mexico
During Tecnológico de Monterrey’s “Leaders in Law and Public Transformation” conference series, Pablo Jiménez discussed key challenges facing companies in Mexico, including corruption, antitrust compliance, intellectual property, legal certainty and corporate social responsibility.
Pablo Jiménez participated in the “Leaders in Law and Public Transformation” conference series organized by Tecnológico de Monterrey’s School of Government and Public Transformation, where he shared his perspective on some of the key challenges facing companies in Mexico.
At the time, as Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Grupo Modelo, Pablo identified four main areas: corruption and lack of transparency; awareness of and compliance with antitrust rules across organizations; intellectual property protection; and legal and tax certainty for investors.
During his presentation, he also emphasized the responsibility of companies in strengthening a culture of legality and the importance of incorporating social responsibility into business strategy and business models. He also discussed the role of lawyers in promoting legal compliance within organizations.
