Pablo discusses instruments such as Mexico’s Sustainable Taxonomy and the Standardized ESG Questionnaire for Issuers, as well as international regulatory initiatives that may affect Mexican companies or organizations participating in global value chains.

The article also reflects on the evolution of sustainable finance and the importance of frameworks that enable companies to define objectives, assess their practices and strengthen their sustainability strategies. In this context, it highlights the importance of broad dialogue between authorities and different sectors in shaping ESG regulation in Mexico.
