Claus von Wobeser concludes his tenure as president of ICC Mexico
After six years of leadership, Claus von Wobeser concludes his tenure at ICC Mexico, where he advanced an agenda focused on legal certainty, integrity and international engagement.
Our Honorary President and Of Counsel, Claus von Wobeser, concluded his tenure as president of ICC Mexico after six years of leadership and commitment to the institution.
During this period, Claus advanced an agenda focused on strengthening the rule of law, legal certainty, integrity, sustainability and innovation, while also promoting Mexico’s participation in the international business community.
At ICC Mexico’s General Assembly, the organization recognized his trajectory and contribution. The event also featured John W.H. Denton AO, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce, and marked the beginning of a new chapter with Alberto Espinosa Desigaud assuming the presidency of ICC Mexico for the 2026–2028 term.
As part of the program, Claus von Wobeser, Alberto Espinosa and John W.H. Denton presented Ocho décadas al servicio del comercio internacional, a commemorative publication covering ICC Mexico’s 80-year history and its contribution to international trade.
For Von Wobeser y Sierra, the conclusion of this chapter is also an opportunity to recognize Claus’s institutional leadership and his longstanding involvement in organizations that contribute to strengthening Mexico’s legal and business environment.
His tenure at ICC Mexico reflects a vision that has also accompanied the evolution of our firm: combining legal excellence, institutional leadership and a long-term perspective to contribute to the development of business and the broader business community.
