In accordance with the modifications, the COVID-19 detection tests that employers must carry out on their workers will be under the following terms: • They must be carried out on a weekly basis; • Mandatory for workplaces with 100 or more employees; • The tests must be applied to at least 3% of the total workforce that is working at the workplace; and • The tests may be carried out on a group or individual basis. As these are tests of a medical nature and involve the handling of personal data, it is important to have appropriate advice on applicable labor and personal data protection matters.
