We hereby inform you that on June 9, 2026, a decree was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation establishing administrative measures in connection with the celebration of the opening of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico City (the “Decree”).

Through the Decree, private-sector companies and employers are urged to implement, on June 11, 2026, telework, remote work, or other flexible work-organization arrangements for all non-essential administrative activities. This measure seeks to contribute to urban mobility and road safety. It is important to note, in order to avoid confusion, that the scope of the Decree is specific, as it is limited solely to extending an invitation in favor of flexible work arrangements. In no case should it be interpreted as the declaration of a holiday or non-working day, nor as an imposition by the Federal Government.
