On February 19, 2015, the former Justice of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation and current Counsel of the firm, Guillermo Ortiz Mayagoitia, together with our Partner, Diego Sierra, participated (as an expert and as a speaker, respectively) in the high-level meeting in London organized by IBA President David W. Rivkin. Their contribution to this event underscores the commitment of both to continue contributing to the IBA's efforts to raise ethical standards in the legal profession. The meeting focused on developing ideas for the Judicial Integrity Initiative, a new project aimed at combating judicial corruption. Other notable participants included current and former chief justices in various jurisdictions and representatives such as: the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
