Today, June 17, 2020, Agreement SS/14/2020, issued by the Plenary of the Superior Chamber of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice (TFJA), was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), extending the suspension of time periods and activities, so that said Court will remain closed and the computation of time periods suspended until June 30, 2020.
The foregoing agreement added the lifting of the suspension of terms and time periods, as of June 16 of this year, in connection with the online proceedings pending before the Chamber Specialized in Intellectual Property Matters that meet the following requirements: a) that the initial complaint was filed online before March 18, 2020; b) that the defendant authority is not under a suspension of activities on account of the health emergency; and c) that there is no other cause preventing its continuation. Finally, it was agreed to increase the preparation of draft judgments, and the enabling of days and hours for their notification through the Jurisdictional Bulletin, or personally before the Court, continues. Such notifications will take effect on the first business day on which the TFJA resumes its activities. The Court's other duties, established in the previous agreements, will remain in force until its reopening.
