Dear Clients, More than three years have passed since the addition to article1 16 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States of a second paragraph recognizing the protection of personal data as a fundamental right or, in other words, the protection of the individual with respect to the use given to his or her personal information in the private sphere. "Every person has the right to the protection of his or her personal data, and to access, rectify and cancel such data, as well as to express his or her opposition thereto, under the terms established by law, which shall set forth the exceptions to the principles governing the processing of data, on grounds of national security, provisions of public order, public safety and health, or to protect the rights of third parties."
