Adhesion to UN Women’s Women’s Empowerment Principles

We are thrilled to share with you that Von Wobeser y Sierra signed the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) during an event held by Abogadas MX on February 11, 2022.

This action reinforces, as a firm, our commitment to women to promote them into leadership positions, as well as to foster gender equality and their empowerment, which are vital to driving growth and sustainability. Established by the United Nations Global Compact and UN Women, the WEPs are based on international labor and human rights standards and are grounded in the recognition that businesses have a stake and a responsibility in gender equality and women’s empowerment. At Von Wobeser y Sierra, we believe that the WEPs framework, composed of seven principles (leadership, equality, safety, education, transparency, community, and markets), is an effective path to promoting sustainability, innovation, and productivity in the global community. This is one of the diversity and inclusion initiatives promoted by our firm’s Diversity Committee.

New methodology for electricity transmission service charges applicable to self-supply and cogeneration
