Update: Extension of the suspension of terms and time periods of the National Hydrocarbons Commission

Today, the “Agreement amending the one declaring the suspension of time periods and terms in the acts and proceedings conducted before the National Hydrocarbons Commission (“CNH”)” (the “Agreement”) was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (“DOF”).

The Agreement extends, until Thursday, April 30, 2020, the suspension of the time periods and terms in the acts and proceedings conducted before the CNH decreed in the “Agreement declaring the suspension of time periods and terms in the acts and proceedings conducted before the National Hydrocarbons Commission from Monday, March 23 to Sunday, April 19, 2020,” published in the DOF on March 20, 2020 (the “Original Agreement”). In this regard, the time periods and terms in the acts and proceedings conducted before the CNH will be suspended from Monday, March 23, 2020, to Thursday, April 30, 2020. Finally, the Agreement establishes that, except for the extension referred to above, the Original Agreement remains in full force and effect.
