Modification of the Guidelines for the Execution of the Gradual Plan toward the New Normality in Mexico City

On September 25, 2020, the Head of Government of Mexico City published in the Official Gazette the Twenty-Second Notice announcing the color of the Epidemiological Traffic Light for Mexico City, and the modification of the Guidelines for the Execution of the Gradual Plan toward the New Normality in Mexico City (hereinafter, the Notice).

According to the Guidelines for the Execution of the Gradual Plan toward the New Normality in Mexico City, published on May 29, 2020 in the Official Gazette of Mexico City, the corporate and private sector offices may initiate their inperson activities when the epidemiological Traffic Light of Mexico City is yellow.

Nevertheless, the new Notice modifies this to establish that the corporate and private sector offices may return to their inperson activities when the epidemiological traffic light of Mexico City is green, except those that are related to essential activities, whose presence is indispensable for the functioning of such activity.

Finally, we inform you that the Notice establishes that Mexico City will continue to have an orange traffic light until October 4, 2020.

We will continue to follow this matter and would be glad to provide you with any additional information you may need.
