  • Luis is a partner of Von Wobeser y Sierra. He has more than thirty years of experience in M&A and corporate matters and transactions in general. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, co-leads our Energy and Natural Resources industry group and is part of the ESG practice group (Environmental, Social and Governance).


    He has a diverse corporate practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial transactions in general. This includes spin-offs, strategic alliances and information and communications technology (ICT) transactions, both domestic and cross-border, with an emphasis on the consumer goods, energy and technology sectors.

    His clients include public companies listed in the Dow Jones, S&P, DAX, Nikkei and BMV, some of the most profitable Forbes 100 Top Brands as well as, some of the largest and most innovative private equity and venture capital funds. He has been a key player in the most groundbreaking and complex M&A matters and transactions that have recently taken place in Mexico and Latin America. Furthermore, he regularly advises clients in transactions and matters related to information technology and telecommunications including outsourcing; software licensing; patents and media content; electronic commerce and internet regulation; data privacy; and Fintech, among others.

    Luis has been involved in many of the most transcendent disputes handled by the firm in both arbitration and court litigation and has sat as arbitrator in several cases.
